Aponot

How Aponot works.

Aponot adds an eldercare benefit to an organization's existing offering with minimal setup — giving employees access to care navigation and, when it's needed, licensed home care arranged on their behalf.

1

The employer enrolls

Aponot is added alongside an organization's existing benefits. There is no new system to run and no hourly cost to the employer.

2

The benefit is made available to employees

Eligible employees gain access to the Aponot platform and a dedicated care advisor. We handle the enrollment communications.

3

Employees engage care navigation

Employees can work with an advisor to understand and plan for a parent's care — from early questions to home care, assisted living, and benefits — well before any crisis.

4

When needed, licensed home care is arranged

If hands-on help is required, Aponot arranges and manages real, credentialed in-home care through a vetted local agency — scheduled and overseen on the employee's behalf.

Care navigation is available to every employee from day one. Hands-on home care is there the moment it is needed — one benefit, at every stage.

Common questions

Who actually delivers the care?
Licensed local home care agencies in our vetted network, with credentialed (CNA/HHA), background-checked caregivers. Aponot arranges and manages it end-to-end.
What does it cost?
Employers pay a flat subscription — about $5 per employee per month — with no hourly cost. Employees pay discounted rates only for the hands-on care they use.
What if a parent lives in another state?
Care navigation is available anywhere. Hands-on home care is delivered where we have agency coverage, which is expanding.
How quickly can care start?
Advisor support is immediate. Hands-on care is typically arranged within about 24 hours, depending on location and shift needs.
Is it HIPAA-compliant and insured?
Yes — HIPAA-compliant with BAAs available, and both Aponot and its network agencies carry appropriate liability coverage.
How hard is it to set up?
Minimal. It's added to the benefits offering with a roster and an announcement we provide — a pilot can launch within 2–3 weeks.
